Diana Miller is an experienced music educator who has taught elementary general music as well as band at all levels from 5th through 12 grade.
She is most recently serving as the General Music and Choral teacher at Lewistown Elementary school in Lewistown, PA. She has also served as Director of Bands for the Southern Huntingdon County School District, where she oversaw the band program in grades 5-12, and directed the SHC Marching Rocket Band. Diana has hosted numerous county and PMEA festivals, and her students have enjoyed success at the County, District, and Region levels. While teaching there, Southern Huntingdon County was recognized as one of the "Best Communities for Music Education" by NAMM. Diana's groups have performed in various venues, including the state capitol in Harrisburg, Virginia Beach, Hershey Park, and more. In 2018 she was a quarterfinalist for a Grammy award in Music Education. Diana has her Master's of Music in Wind Conducting from Messiah College and her Bachelor's of Science in Music Education from West Chester University. She has 3 children at home and a grumpy cat named Arthur. |
